A proposed change in the Covenants and Restrictions seeks to require the duration of any lease in KPVillas be a minimum of one year.
KPVA President Loretta J. writes in a Sept. 23, 2024, email to homeowners:
As we discussed at the Annual Meeting, the Board is proposing a change in the by-laws [sic] of our community. This proposal needs to be accepted by at least 75% of members to be approved. The Board wants to require leasing of properties to be at least one year in length, not less than one year in length.
Current wording:
19. Leases. No leases of any Dwelling Units may be entered into without the prior approval of the Association and no such lease may have a duration of longer than one year.
Proposed wording:
19. Leases. No leases of any Dwelling Units may be entered into without the prior approval of the Association and no such lease may have a duration of less than one year.
