Voting for Persons Confined to Home

Absentee and in-person voting opens Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in the lobbies of the downtown South Bend County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., and the County Services Building, 219 Lincoln Way W., Mishawaka. Early voting ends the day before the election, Monday, November 4, at noon. Details are at https://www.sjcindiana.gov/2269/Absentee-Early-Voting


The County offers a service for disabled voters or those confined to their home. Per the County website, you can "vote by Traveling Board by filling out an absentee ballot application and indicate you would like to have a travel board come to your residence to vote your ballot. The Traveling Board supervisor will call and schedule a time for their visit. Download the travel board request form (State Form 55379)"
